2024-25 Youth Services Learning Community (Northeast Region)
August 15, 2024 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm MDT
Join the Colorado State Library’s Youth & Family Services team (aka the Kates) in Yuma to connect and learn together about a variety of youth services-related topics. This year we are inviting you to help us create the agenda based on your own curiosity and any learning needs you’d like to share with us. When you register you will be asked to rank a list of potential topics by interest. We will prepare a unique program for your region that will incorporate participants’ highest ranked topics.
This is a free, in-person, full-day learning opportunity (9am to 4pm) and lunch will be provided for all participants.
We have 25 seats available for this event which is open to all Colorado library professionals who work with children, youth, and their families/caregivers at their libraries. However, priority will be given to individuals who work at a public library in the Northeast region of Colorado.
Please use this form to register: https://forms.microsoft.com/r/uGk7KuYHeH
Registration will close at the end of the day on Wednesday, July 31st, 2024.
Additional regional in-person learning opportunities will take place in November 2024, March 2025, and May 2025 in other regions around the state. If you’d be interested in hosting one of these events at your library in the future, please let us know.
Contact Kate Brunner, Youth & Family Services Consultant (brunner_k@cde.state.co.us OR 720-595-9248) with any questions. Kate Compton and I look forward to learning with and alongside you. Many, many thanks to the folks at Yuma for hosting!
