Colorado Public Library Standards serve as a tool in defining and measuring a CO public library’s success in fulfilling its mission and role in the community. Participants will have opportunity to select one of the 10 areas to take a deep dive into the standard and perform an analysis of their public library’s work to inform strategic planning, funding needs, and best practice.
After this workshop, participants will:
- Know that Colorado Public Library Standards (CPLS) exist and understand their purpose.
- Analyze one of the 10 CPLS in relation to work
- Create a strategy to implement CPLs opportunities through strategic planning, funding needs, and best practice.
