Empowered De-escalation: Cultivating Safety in Libraries

Event Category:
June 24, 2025 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am MDT

These days it seems like everyone is on edge and things can escalate quickly. This session equips participants with practical strategies to diffuse tense situations, effectively set boundaries, and approach conflict with confidence. Participants will learn the foundations of de-escalation along with how to keep themselves and others safe. They will be able to identify the different stages of escalation as well as strategies to manage stress and make decisions in heightened scenarios. This will be an interactive learning opportunity.

We Are Safer Together is an organization that facilitates inclusive, adaptive, and trauma-informed safety programs to inspire confidence and create safer communities.

Registration is required.
