Save the Date: Colorado Teen Literature Conference
April 20, 2024 @ 8:00 am - 4:00 pm MDT$40 – $80
The 36th Annual Colorado Teen Literature Conference will be held at Bear Creek High School on Saturday, April 20, 2024. We are currently accepting proposals for program sessions at the conference! This is an excellent opportunity to try your hand as a presenter or moderator of a discussion panel. Traditionally this forum has been a terrific event for networking, learning about best practices for working with our teen populations, and keeping current with teen literature.
We are looking for workshops that appeal to an audience of both adults (teachers and librarians) and teens, presented by authors, educators, or experts in young adult literature.
We’re also looking for those interested in offering 5–10-minute lightning sessions on a teen literature related subject of your choosing. Teens and adults are welcome to share ideas in a relaxed and friendly environment and could cover everything from booktalks to lit related program ideas to fandom joy.
To submit a proposal, please go to our website, click on Menu and select Call for Presenters. Deadline for proposals is January 22, 2024!
This popular event is generously sponsored by Pikes Peak Library District, Colorado Children and Teen Services Interest Group (CATS), REFORMA Colorado, and the Colorado State Library.
