How to Operationalize the New Colorado Public Library Standards

May 22, 2024 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am MDT

Free

Welcome to the newly updated Colorado Library Public Standards! Now that the standards have been completed, we’d like to help you find ways to operationalize them. Library staff, library directors, and trustees are encouraged to attend. Join us and, better yet, bring a group of 2 – 3 people to share and learn best practices.

Participants will be sent a copy of the standards ahead of time. You are encouraged to identify one guideline on which you have questions. Also, you can bring ways you are “rocking it” with any of the standards.

This 2-hour session will allow you (and your colleagues) to ask questions about operationalizing different standards into your work plans. Insight will be provided by Colorado State Library staff, you, and other libraries.

May 22, 2024 | 9:30 – 11:30 (come early for coffee & snacks)

Registration is required. Limit of 3 individuals per library. Limited capacity so please sign up early!

Facilitator: Nikki McCord

This is a Colorado State Library workshop coordinated by Sharon Morris.
